Little Prelude introduces New York families to artist-caregivers. The musicians and performing artists we list are trained at the highest level, devoted to children, and each vetted by our founder.
Music becomes meaningful for them when it is shared through a genuine relationship.
That's why we don't separate childcare from music education. When your caregiver is also an artist, music stops being another scheduled activity and becomes part of everyday life: a song while baking cookies, a rhythm game on the walk home, a lullaby that becomes part of your own bedtime routine.

Our founder pairs you with an artist-caregiver suited to your family: interviewed in person, background-checked, reference-verified, and CPR/First Aid-certified. You meet before anything begins.
